Well at least we now know the connection and potential reasoning to BoA's move on Sayona back in September 2022.

And we also can see now how much power BoA ( a.k.a Merrill's - formerly Sayona's Top 20 Insto for years ) can yield in the market despite the 79% majority of analysts who cover Albemarle rating it a BUY with an average target of US$248 with 7% of analysts now rating it a SELL. So it just goes to show you it doesn't matter how many positive broker calls you have , its the ONE that matters the most which drags you down further.

And I agree with a number of other commentators around the traps who are alluding to the fall out from the LTR withdrawal from ALB and how it will have an overarching downward effect on higher valued lithium stocks.

Doubt Albemarle will be buying anyone now and if their share price keeps falling , they themselves will become the Prey. Maybe Gina or PLS will look at having a tilt at Albemarle...... And maybe the market wants that.too.

Worst thing now would be to get our own downgrade permeating from the quarterlies or some issue regarding ' Quality ' of product given we haven't heard any further on other shipments including those supposedly going to Piedmont.

Sadly though , and unless you intend on buying lower , this stock has just become a story of lost opportunities. Just the way they handle everything. And obviously the ' Marlin ' spat the hook when they came across a school of tastier smaller sardines than the bait we had. And goodbye Brett after that and his novice meeting on Collins Street.

For me this whole cascading downward spiral stated yesterday when Lucid posted 30% lower quarter on quarter EV sales and gave up almost 4% and then another 9.4% today. Tesla also down 4.78% and almost 9% for the Month so far. So not looking great at the present moment.
