So back before the collapse of Nemaska , there was offtakes from Johnson Matthey and intentions from Northvolt to obtain their lithium from Nemaska.

In addition to that , there was also a connection with Johnson Matthey and its eLNO fast charging nickel rich battery technology which started in 2018 and made its media launch debut in Oct 2021 when it also had a previous JV in Finland with Northvolt at the Vaasa plant.

Strangely though , and only a month later in November 2021 , Johnson Matthey sells its Battery materials and Technology division to EV battery metals which included the coinciding sale of its LFP technology division in Canada to Nano One Materials Corp which was concluded in May 2022.

So once again it would appear the Quebec golden child in the new Nemaska who seems to be always at the forefront of the conversations when it comes to potential supply deals at the present moment.

But one has to wonder if something like a ' Marlin ' was offered up to Sayona at some point , but with relationships as they are with Piedmont they hesitated if not diddle-daddled too long before it evaporated and went cold.

And of course now any previous offer from an offeror will most certainly be adjusted downwards in light of what's going on in the overall markets and lithium pricing and demand environments.

So we have no options right now but to just wait it out.

I am not the best investors but your comment as...."we have to wait it out"... does seems to be very reasonable to me...
