For the last 2 days, I have attempted to purchase shares of Sayona (SYAFX) here in the US via my BofA/Merrill Edge account and have been blocked from doing so. Here is the message I get:
”Trading of this security is generally not permitted on the Merrill platform. This order for a low pricedsecurity and/or for certain other securities has been blocked due to specific restrictions.(RES CHK RIT ERR RES VAL).”
I spoke with a Trading Specialist, who basically said, “Yeah, sorry, I don’t know why, but they do that sometimes.” Grrrrr
Anyone have this experience before? If so, what did you do? Sigh!
