A lot of fear and uncertainty setting in on SYA thread atm. This is exactly what they wanted to achieve back in June and it looks like those that shorted will be making a fortune off the ones that have given into that fear/uncertainty. Its also probably why GT3 and Split havent commented much today or lately with all of the turmoil around our share price atm.

People forget that share prices are not driven exclusively by company value. Macros and also trends in T/A do impact share price as well. As I pointed out yesterday a year ago who could have invested with all of the positives expected from SYA and seen a lithium downturn and thus price drop for our product, 2 wars started, a capital raise, a ceo resignation, no offtakes signed up, no partners or mergers (no marlin) and now a reduced guidance on ramp up oh and also no further info on what is happening with a half built carb plant that has been put in the corner.

Management are going to have their hands full at the next AGM me thinks with a lot of frustrated holders here asking some thorny questions.

Before selling your stock (your choice, not advice) an amplifying the volatility of this current trend. Ask yourself why you invested in SYA to begin with? Do you need to money today? Is it something your prepared to lose? Has SYA changed since you invested or is it still the same company?

Also remember that back on the 8th June State Street lent out 458 MILLION shares to be available to short sell with no required return date. Now when you see the 100M sell side on market today. Which would include also a larger majority retail base portion of fearing mum and dad investors. Be aware of how much weight that 458M shares can have on our price and that at some point the shares will need to be return post consolidation. Once that happens there is every potential of another run, especially if we consolidate while some have sold short but not bought back in to return the shares at a discount (possible short squeeze). It may not come, if lithium prices fall further into an abyss, then both our management and PLL would need to really start focusing on NAL, cost cutting and drilling would cease. This is all part of the way commodity/specialty chemical price cycles work. They will squash and consolidate the little guys for the next run.

Hence why NAL has to operate at profit in future periods. Lets hope management can get to nameplate with some further tweaking as SYA and indeed PLLs future rely upon it.

At present we seem to be on a trajectory similar to Altura with a depressed lithium spot price and opex that will really squeeze margins if any ie so we no longer appear to have money left for drill expansions at present IMO especially after the guidance downgrade. An if management keep drilling without thinking about cash burn then they could soon be holding out the money collection tin again or using line of credit. Financing costs with the line of credit on top of getting peanuts for PLLs share would all but sink SYA at that stage. Hopefully management can turn this ship around before this sort of thing happens.

Time for management to start tightening the belt on loose money - drilling/exporation expenses (hint hint WA) ...

All the best to any other long termers that remain. They arent getting my shares. The only way ill give mine away is if my excel spreadsheet shows that a liquidator has valued them at Nil.
