The reduced guidance was based on sales guidance minus the 20kt of saleable stock.
While we are producing at $1231/t it would make complete sense to reduce output to concentrate ONLY what we are selling... i get that. I agree that reduced guidance does set up the likeliness to outperform, but its us shareholders who need to be privvy to that and ensure the management team earn their keep by hitting those nameplate numbers, not only by production volume but sales volume, before rewarding themselves.
I dont see any point in producing 226k at inflated costs when we cant even store what we havent sold.
What we should be doing while we are only expected to produce 160kt is increase the grade - that will also generate increased revenue with the sales we already have and push our product up the preference pile for potential buyers in this time of lesser demand.
