You are assuming that the Quebec team will "just carry on working" while such BoD concerns are ongoing. When employees see such uncertainty, some may decide to go somewhere else if they feel concerned enough. And that would indeed be a disaster, as they are making things tick at NAL and are the key to success now and into the future.
Anyway, looking forward to the cricket WC final today, will take our minds off shares for a few hours at least.
