    Something to ponder on your Monday.

    In order to achieve a higher energy density Tesla uses Lithium Hydroxide instead of Lithium Carbonate (except in China). So why am I bringing this up? Well Lithium Hydroxide comes from hard rock mines and lithium carbonate comes from Brine. Of all lithium sold, 70% comes from Brine

    On battery day Tesla announced by 2030 they would need to product 3 Terra-watts of batteries which is 2900 times more than they will need in 2022.

    Of the worlds supply of hard rock lithium (the other 30%) 20% comes from Australia. The other 10% is scattered across the world.

    In the next few years we will have the following hard rock lithium mines online in North America.
    1. Nemaska
    2. Sayona (Authier)
    3. Piedmont
    4. Critical Elements
    5. Sayona (tansim)
    6. Winner of NAL
    7. Sayona (Lac Simon)

    And it will not scratch the surface of what Tesla will need to fulfill 3 TWh of batteries. ALL OF THE MINES LISTED ABOVE WILL BE COMPLETELY SOLD OUT.

    The best part of this story is that GM, Ford, Rivian, Fisker, VW and others will also be ramping up and will also be using Hydroxide..so even without NAL Sayona will have almost 1/2 of the hard rock mines in North america (3 of 7) and with NAL will have over half. And piedmont is our partner which means basically we will have control of most of the North American assets. Those of you who are looking for prices to fall dream on, they should be at .08 to .10 already based on the market and what Sayona has already announced, once they show the proof via their drilling campaign this will go way further north.
