I feel the major reason of this plummeting is the heavy market lithium price drop.
Personally I guess this may take a while (1-2 year maybe) to recover
No theory can outsmart the real market particularly in a short term (topping up to AVG down may be a disaster if we ignore the market trend), personally I've lost a lot in Sya.
