The answer to that is simple: Would Sayona have commissioned Hatch for an expensive techical study for something they didn't own or intended to own? That would have been real risky, no?

It is pointless to go over the details of the old OTA because it is dead. It is gone. All we can do is look forward to the new one which may, presumably, be done within the first half of 2024.

HOWEVER, as there was no guidance or goals set out in the giant turd that was the "strategic review" there is absolutely no incentive or motivation for James Brown or the bod to accomplish this anytime soon or perhaps even this year.

As Charlie Munger famously said: "Show me the incentive and I will show you the outcome."
