Australian Financial Review, as per the ASX :
Sayona cuts staff, drops exec amid lithium rout Joshua PeachShare post Sayona Mining has cut staff at its North American lithium operation, as the company attempts to weather a lithium price rout sweeping the sector.
The company said 14 staff had been made redundant at its the Québec operations, which Sayona operates in a joint venture.Further, CEO of the company’s Qubec subsidiary Guy Belleau has departed the company, despite only taking up the role a year earlier.
The staff changes are part of operational review brought in by Sayona to navigate the “rapidly changing conditions in the global lithium market”.“This review of our Québec operations is focusing on reducing our cost base, enhancing productivity and improving Sayona’s ability to continue to produce lithium throughout the market cycle,” said James Brown, Sayona’s interim CEO.

In my opinion this is a good start / reaction to the Lithium price crash although there will be more changes to come over the next six month.
To the employees who lost their jobs in either Australia or Canada I wish you all the best.
