In 1867 one John Stuart Mill - some of you may have heard of him - said:

"Bad men need nothing more to compass
their ends than that good men should look
on and do nothing."

[OK, it's nineteenth century language and sexism had yet to be recognised]

But it's relevant to this discussion. What if the downrampers have their own gas station?

Do we, as reasonable traders and investors, allow trash talk including everything - from barely viable analysis to false news to outright lying - to be given oxygen without a riposte? Is there enough rope lying around to give them?

No easy answers, folks. For me, being an outspoken ****, I wouldn't let them take over these forums without a fight based on facts and logic.

But that's just me.
