Yep. Just because director's interests are (supposedly) "aligned" does make automatically make them act in what we think are our best interests.
Just pointing challenging independence per what K88 is saying would not pass go. If there is going to be an EGM then the angle that might work is challenging the PERCEIVED RELATIONSHIP (now we are arguing that "it looks like") presents MATERIAL INTERFERENCE to the exercise of independent judgement. Be bloody hard to win ...
Is he fit to be a director ... another area to tackle .... it your dinosaur/coal line of thinking .... but mining skills transferable or not to other resources?
