Personally doubt it's that due to CXO action today also. I reckon this could have a lot to do with all the talk of adjusting the way the lithium spot market and price are calculated:

Just my opinion, but if prices were to be positively impacted by this and also a natural increase in pricing anyway as hoped due to end of Chinese New Year restocking etc then it would be a sensible time for shorts to consider closing and the two companies right now with the most to gain could well be SYA and CXO..
Just my thoughts on it but makes sense imo.
