If you didn’t know it was Lithium Universe that was the company wanting to create a lithium carbonate hub in Quebec, you would be forgiven for thinking that Sayona was the driving force behind this project.
It is difficult to see how Lithium Universe can succeed with this ambitious project without having a single lithium mine even close to production.
However, they have assembled a team that has designed, developed and operated a lithium carbonate processing plant in China, so they have the expertise.
Lithium Universe has engaged Primero and Hatch to do a study with aim of building a lithium carbonate plant in Becancour.
This should all sound very familiar to any one that has been around Sayona for any length of time.
