China's Luna holiday finishes today so next week is back to work. Let's see what happens with the spot prices on their futures exchange next week. Fingers crossed their stock piles are low and they start buying at higher prices to top up.
Also EU investigators are currently over in China in Jan & Feb to investigate if the car companies are receiving any major production advantages from government subsidies. Who's to say they also don't find that dirty lepidolite is also heavily subsidised by the state too. I'm hoping EU slap higher tariffs on batteries with poorly sourced Li ESG credentials. Will certainly force battery makers to source their Li from cleaner and more sustainable jurisdictions like Canada.
