You are right mate. ASIC and the Australian government are basically sitting on their hands allowing the shorters to manipulate share prices on the ASX.
Even the Chinese government is cracking down on shorting.... so when is Australia going to starting following the lead of these less developed and "emerging" countries.
Hang in their mate... one thing about Aussies is that we know how to battle it out through the tough times. We'll eventually get our "Dividends".
