And my thoughts, for what they're worth, are that Albemarle has recent form in this area, where they made very plain with their abortive Liontown t/O bid of $US 5 billion - scuppered by HM Gina - that they wished to expand their Australian Li holdings in WA. When conceding defeat late last year, their CEO, Kent Masters' statement was strong on their need to expand ' organically and inorganically', which I take to mean to include M&A. And the 'global' word was used. But .. that was then, this is now. Their most recent thoughts are about the 'unsustainable' short term spod price... I'm wondering how much they're currently hurting...
