It happened across the board on lith stocks at 2pm, in response to lith futures rallying. If what you're saying about inside news being the cause is true, then PLS, IGO, CXO, LTR and many more would have all had inside news relating to each company.
Of course everyone should DYOR etcetc and its not your responsibility at the end of the day, but there are obviously people who look to you for guidance on this forum when things change... a more balanced view might be the sensible approach given the uncertainty of the outcome of this.
