Agree 100%. Not only is Australia a Five Eyes ally (and has been sharing intelligence with its partners for decades) but we Aussies are replete with what 'Murica' needs in terms of minerals vital to its defence and economic well-being. Including, now, lithium. Lots of it.

We have been a close ally since 1941, ffs.

We sit south of East Asia an unsinkable aircraft carrier where the inhabitants speak a form of English which, after a while, can mostly be understood.

So, we constitute. 'sovereign risk' do we? If we do - who the f*** doesn't?

The trick as I see it is to put this proposed action into the context of who is doing it, whether their grounds are specious or not and why it's happening.

As to the last, firstly it's because we matter. We have caught their attention.

Secondly, it's because litigation is in their nature. It's the way they do business. Thirdly, it's a good way to suppress a SP quickly - and cheaply - for a miriad of reasons. Including excluding the new guy by use of t/over.

    Thoughts? Comments?

Shoot me down in flames if you like.

    Jigsaur.
