The price was being held up by someone with deep pockets almost certainly, no other producer/near-term producer on the asx got anywhere close to the volume and 4 consecutive days of closing at highs with double digit gains off the back of those rumours.
Not to mention that there was a large seller during the rise in PLL, yet it all got absorbed without slowing down at all. Are you suggesting traders and retail held that up? seems unlikely.
