I'll be honest I don't know, I do see where you're coming from. But if this is the case why did no other stock see anywhere close to the buying power that SYA did if the catalyst applied to the broader lithium market also?

Humour me for a second, lets say it was known there would be a liquidity event (Moblan DFS), a large 1b+ short interest and someone capable of off-marketing a 1b trade who is also incentivised by a poor cash position.

Instead of getting caught in a squeeze on-market, wouldn't it be more profitable to trade propping the price up for a couple days and selling into a known liquidity event for pretty much all profit anyways (the 20th when the DFS dropped closed above the low of the previous day) for a get out of jail-free card off-market?
