I believe that if SYA goes into C&M, China has won. I can't understand why the western countries keep crying about their lack of critical minerals but won't lift their finger to do anything about it. Quebec wants to be the future clean energy hub for North America, will they let there only producing lithium operation fail? Especially since they control 60% of Moblan and whatever of NAL. It is a head scratcher to understand how China keeps producing/selling the large amounts of EVs but the lithium spot price keeps going down. The reason why EVs haven't taken off in America is because ordinary people can't afford them. If you could get a Honda, Toyota, Hyundai, Kia, Ford, & Chevrolet to start selling an affordable EV, with styling like BYD autos, the EV sales would explode. How can an auto with less parts than an ICE auto cost so much? I think China is trying to break the western miners to the point where they can swoop in and buy them out. Just my thoughts.
