Yeah definitely going reasonably well so far.
And not that this observation means anything or not - because as we all know , it's not all that unusual when considering Sayona share price volatility that we've seen 2 by 70 odd percent move ups in a relatively very short time frame since early December
2023.
So keeping a close eye on Ontario based Frontier Lithium , and because it too has been beaten up pretty badly ( along with Quebec James Bay play critical elements) , it ( Frontier ) was up 25.93% overnight with most of that increase happening in the FIRST 2 hours of trading on NO knees.
So that brings Frontier's 5 day total to 43.16% ...., and again on NO knew's
And not that there is any direct relationship apart from a hunch that Sigma might be looking at Frontier..... was also up 5.3% overnight and stabilizing what has otherwise been a disastrous month losing over 40% of its valuation .
So it's Interesting that one of the STRONG connections between these two lithium is the fact that have BOTH commissioned the besieged Global Engineering concern in DRA Global who took on the phase 2 & 3 expansion plant design for Sigma and its ' Triple ZERO ' rated green lithium in August 2023 , and then was awarded the Frontier DFS study for its PAK lithium project in early November.
Now obviously these guys DRA Global are renown for their hard rock lithium plant design and build so it wouldn't be that uncommon to see their involvement across many hard rock projects. Like Atlantic etc....
In fact Piedmont's Patrick Brindle was actually Vice President of Engineering for DRA Taggart which is a subsidiary of DRA Global..
But the only indirect connections that Sayona have with DRA Global that I can see , is the fact that they had some early involvement with Moblan in preparing some of their studies / MR for Guo Ao Lithium..
Apart from that , you would have to go all the way back to 2017 /18 where they DRA was engaged for the development of Altura's Pilgangoora project through involvement of its pre-feasibility and subsequent feasibility studies.
I guess it shouldn't be all that surprising given the failure though of Altura and the fact Sayona is still wedded to these Guy's that we HAVEN'T seen their name pop up with Sayona's projects moving forward....
Might there been some Industry bad blood there as well causing them to steer clear of any involvement with this Mob again. I mean that's how Industry works right ?
Once bitten twice shy in the Corporate trust stakes kinda thing.
So yeah , I'm with a lot of the contributors on this forum who have come to realized that in order for Sayona to move forward , we need a ' Clean Sweep ' of these guys off our BOD at the very FIRST opportunity. And that includes our somewhat ' redundant ' Finance Manager who has presided over one of the worst collapses of valuation and destruction of shareholder wealth in the current era of Lithium producers bar the ones who have already folded.
We need these Guy's GONE. And sooner the better. Even if they ALL have to go at once.
And I'm very surprised that Quebec officials are not seeing this and also endeavoring to promulgate a ' spill ' . But I guess it does say a lot about why Sayona has not been the beneficiary of any significant funding from Quebec outside of any JV payments. Why would you give these clowns any of your Provinces funds when they are ' Ex ' Corporate failures like their own Guy Bourassa who was effectively spilled for the failure of Nemaska.....
And then there is the fact that virtually ALL previous Sayona Quebec ' Home Grown ' executives like Guy Lalitberte , Guy Belleau , Cindy .....and others as well.
Can't see them being ' Happy ' and content with the Aussie Cowboys running the total show now.
And by the way , that expression came from a Quebec Journalist who quoted one of the Authier protagonists who were lobbying against its approval. So it will be in one of those early Articles from the La Press or one of the others who was covering the story at that time in 2018/2019. But it was definitely said in that derogatory manner.
