Yeah, I'm a bit sceptical that we would be 3 days in a row where we don't have any, unless there is a significant reason the rebalance would effect those borrowing them. But if the reporting has been effed 3 day in a row well it would be just another dodgy event that really just shits on retail holders again and that would be the responsibility of the ASX, and/or also those failing to report them 3 days running.
But, yes, if the data is correct and we haven't had any lent out against us for 3 days, well the gross total should be significantly lower when they are reported Friday 1st March and Tuesday March 5th.
Note: Public holiday Monday, no shorts that day either
