I was thinking the same, however i'm still erring on the side of caution.
there were 45,000,000 taken out last Thursday which was the last significant daily total which may stop a large drop in the gross total reported tomorrow.
Someone mentioned the "dark pool" of shorts yesterday which i'm now inclined to believe is out there. A borrowed amount of shorts that have not been sold into the market yet...
or is there naked shorting? (illegal)
