The heavy buying after trade might of had something to do with the Lithium futures sky-rocketing, the institutions would find out before anyone else , and yes your right short covering most likely the answer , the institutions loaned the shares out at around 6 to 6.7 cents now the shorts are covering there positions to reduce loses and lock un profits, imo
