The upside to this move up is that those large firms increased their positions and wouldnt have been able to without buying PLL's stake, there wasnt enough shares in the basket to increase their positions to that extent without buying PLL's shares. I doubt they would buy at 5.2c only to sell within a couple of weeks for a rebalance so what im thinking is that they may buy more to keep it in the index.
