I'm hearing chatter that Chinese Lepidolite mines won't reopen again, full stop. The environmental impact is apparently terrible and not only are end customers questioning it but the local population had some sort of protect that the CCP didn't appreciate...
I'm looking for an actual source to this, but if true could be the catalyst for a sustained upward trend in lithium pricing from here on in the cycle.
