Interesting to note from Piedmont's annual report (p25) that their CEO Keith Phillips is a Director of Sayona Quebec.
Also of interest in the report it states "our directors may be in a position of conflict" but declares "as of the date of this Annual Report none of our directors ... possess a conflict of interests with our business, other than as follows; (i) ... Keith Phillips ... was appointed as a board member of Sayona Quebec".
Of course, there is a conflict.
It looks like there is no interest on the part of PLL to proceed to develop the carbonate plant any time soon. It looks like an impasse. Three Sayona Quebec directors have resigned within the past 2 years - BL & the two Guy's.
It is time to announce the new Sayona CEO and independent Director/s and deal with this and move forward - in the interests of SYA shareholders.
