Where else can they purchase cheaper IRA compliant lithium though?
Sonethings got to give if a NA battery supply chain is to be established and paying a 'premium' for compliant product is one of them considering the tax benefit on the end.
There's still some confusion about what and what is not compliant but once this is solid then less emphasis will be focused on getting the absolute cheapest and best deal from OEM's point of view and miners will need to compromise on getting the absolute highest price for their product too.
