Yeah that's not the reason I was specifically eluding to. But yes , Quebec is under pressure fiscally. Bit of an unfair comparison to NSW's credit rating to Quebec as in GDP terms , NSW having a GDP some 74% larger that Quebec , but is definitely not as Mining centric or even dependent as Quebec is on this component of the economy.
Nor does NSW spend anywhere near what Quebec spends or hands out for Mining projects. And all this compares against a population base which is around 500,000 more at 8.6 million compared to NSW's 8.1 / 8.2 million.
Yeah that's not the reason I was specifically eluding to. But...
