The Chinese are working on a fusion reactor that will propel a space ship to Mars in 12 days.
Whoa, hang on for the ride of your life.
If they can successfully do that, designing a reactor to power a whole country will probably not be too far behind.
FYI it is proposed that liquid lithium will be used as the coolant to prevent the reactor from cooking.
