    Hello Wallaby! It's possible that an 'iceberg' order is driving prices down. I wouldn't be surprised if the larger purchases were from the same institution. If I were looking to exit a trade with twenty-five million shares ahead of me, I might bypass selling at 3.8 cents per share and opt for 3.75 instead. While it may appear as share manipulation, it's a legitimate strategy for institutions.

    A few years back, I attempted to sell five hundred thousand shares of DVN prior to the Leighton acquisition, but the ASX declined my sell order, claiming it would unfairly impact the share price. This was because DVN typically saw fifty to one hundred trades per day, whereas SYA, being part of the ASX200 and experiencing over six hundred to a thousand trades daily, can handle large volumes of orders.
