I myself am an avid camper when i feel good enough to head out and I can see the appeal of having something that can go 800km on a single charge, however I feel that if they do that its either going to be priced so high the average person cant afford it or that it would undercut the need for ev charging stations if its priced relatively affordable. So while it would be nice I think it would be for a niche audience so may not be as profitable, perhaps it may be considered for a commercial vehicle such as police etc and could be picked up by 4WD enthusiasts so I guess there may be a market for it, however the majority will most likely opt for cars suited to shorter trips, and with that I would assume that they would travel around 200 to 400km on a charge. These would be cheaper so more likely to attract more sales. Perhaps these would be sold with Sodium batteries as this seems more likely in the range of sodium battery mileage, or it could still be lithium however they may be smaller batteries which would reduce the weight of the vehicle. Either way it seems like 800km would most likely only be targeted towards commercial activities rather than the average consumer so may attract a premium based on that aswell.
