Germany's federal minister of transportation, Dr. Volker Wissing, is threatening to ban driving on weekends by motorists in order othe country "to meet climate goals set forth by the Climate Protection Act."
LOL.. that should go down well .. if they want to take climate goals seriously perhaps start with speed limits on their autobahns, there is a huge difference in fuel consumption between say 100kph and unlimited speed in the fast lane. Humans are strange creatures.
Better still get behind the move to EV's and bring their major car manufacturers into the 21st century before they get left behind.
