I'm waiting on an expansion of resource and continued improvement in grade and output and ultimately lower costs just like they have said.

That still happens , both companies need NAL firing on all cylinders, its their only source of revenue, a merger just turns two small companies into one larger one bringing synergies. Increased resourcs are nice and will happen but revenue is what is needed.

Both companies need much the same thing to move forward and thats outside help with financing, in the case of a merger its really just about getting more revenue in the fastest and least expensive and least dilutionary way possible, a refinery at NAL would likely fit that description.

It needs to be remembered that SYA aquired NAL with the help of PLL which enabled SYA to get a foot on the Lithium ladder and both get an opportunity for early revenue, its not really a lot more complicated than that. We have got that foot on the ladder, small as it is, so its either battle on alone or battle together.
At $US8000t for spod anything looks possible, at $US1100t you become a bit more pragmatic. The good old days may return but they are gone at the moment .

    Cheers Whisky
