As big as Albemarle is, there is only so much it can achieve in a depressed market.
We know from following the progress of SYA in Canada, how hard it can be.
From what I know about King’s Mountain, (which is not much), they are wanting to turn a humongous hole full of water, (that hasn’t been mined since the 80s), into an operational lithium mine.
I can see how that would be hard to do, even if the lithium market was in good shape.
Perhaps Albemarle is hoping that the US Government will up their support?
