I am thinking the US, (using funds allocated to the IRA), could exert pressure on China by allowing future chemical producers in North America to immediately start to stockpile spodumene.
This would put SYAQ as a producer in NA, in the box seat.
It would mean the $200/tonne shipping costs that are paid to transport spod from NAL to China would be reduced to a fraction of that amount.
