Why didn't we hear the same about Iphones ? Every year a new one and the old one dumped in price. Who cares. They used their phone, got their value and use out of it and upgraded to new technology when appropriate. Who keeps or buys a 14 year old car ? 0.001% of the population.
If I bought a carton of milk and opened it would I say is now worth nothing ? No, because it will still do all things I bought it for. Same as my Tesla Y.
By the way the arse has not dropped. Of the 150 odd Tesla Model Y for sale on Caresales at the moment, the cheapest is a 2022 with 110,000 KLMs for $46K. You can buy a 2024 new one for $60K. $46K is hardly the arse fallen out.
