Moblan is the priority for Sya now in my humble opinion..that nugget will become their money maker…

It's an interesting subject Jona, of course getting the current operations profitable is the main priority but beyond that becomes interesting.
Going forward NAL is already a producer of spodumene so its next step is refining versus Moblan whose next and only step for SYA is producing spodumene.
A refinery at NAL is largely permitted, around half the price of a concentrator at Moblan and could be up and running well before a concentrator at Moblan and eventually producing revenue from a net 17,700tpa of Lithium carbonate.

On the other hand we have Moblan which would produce revenue from a net 180,000t of spodumene and has scope for expansion. Moblan with no allocated resource would be attractive to a large partner.

Given we have a mine and concentrator paid for and the simplicity of shoving our concentrate through a wall into a refinery already partly built on the same site means NAL would likely generate similar revenue but be more profitable than Moblan IMO.
The above assumes current expectations but financing will likely have a considerable effect on the eventual outcome on both projects and that can't be predicted.

In summary NAL is potentially the quickest and cheapest way to a similar net revenue on face value but of course a refinery carries more risk so would likey be built by a refiner hence a different revenue outcome, however we would also need financial help with Moblan which could also effect revenue outcome.
One thing is becoming clear and that is SYA is more interested in sticking with what it specialises in and leaving refining to others and on that point alone Moblan has a better metrics.

In the meantime at nameplate ( which could be exceeded) SYA has a net potential revenue from 85,000tpa of spod plus whatever is left over from the OTA with PLL from a plant already paid for and that will remain the case for a while. Its considerably better than being an explorerer years away from anything but only if profitable.

    Cheers Whisky
