Who will have the first EV car maker to be able to claim that every element of the supply chain through to production, comes from within North America?
At this moment in time, I would suggest Tesla is leading the race.
Securing supply of spodumene concentrate from NAL gave them a head start.
The other elements of the supply and production chain appear to be falling into place.
However, other OEMs are not standing still and may yet overtake them to secure bragging rights.
