What we do know is after a long wait an offer was presented to the board and was rejected ( from Dougal) we don't know who it was from or the terms but you don't usually turn reject a favourable offer so we ended up in the spot market for unallocated supply.

We also don't and won't know whether the situation would be better or worse now if the offer had been taken up so is pointless speculating. Sometimes being free of the obligations of an OTA has advantages other times not but all contracts have a tie to market prices just less voltile...JB is well aware that OTA's are not totally rock solid.

There have been a number of wannabe CEO's on the forum who have opinions on how the company should be run, which is fine , its their prerogative but they are not in possession of all the facts like the rest of us but make a lot of noise anyway.
