Trump was very clear in his interviews.
He welcomes EVs if they are built in the US with American workers who have American families to feed.
China has a massive tariff on property. That is, you cannot own property in China unless you are Chinese. Sounds super racist to me.
If EVs are comparable in price, if they can get the standard distance to the 1000km psychological barrier and get standard charging down to 5 minutes, then they will be adopted across the board.
