Trump is going to drill baby drill until the price of oil is worth nothing and his voters are left trying to understand why his drill baby drill policy didn't work this time around. Will that stop the EV revolution- no! Will it put the US behind other countries - including china and Europe - Yes! The last time trump was in he did what was easy, borrow from the future. The only problem now is that the fed is still trying to recoup what he borrowed from the last binge and adding yet more debt is going to be entirely destabilising and destructive to the US. You are starting to even see the next seeds of recession in the US. The fed are dancing on a penny IMO and having someone with zero knowledge of economic policy or economic basics,L and trying to influence Fed, for sure there is going to be fireworks this time around. Imagine having a recession and excess oil coming to the market at the same time ? Both the wealthy and poor will be equally hurt and drill baby drill will do nothing to help anyone. Not to mention what might happen in between with climate. China and Russia will be laughing at the US and US traditional alloys looking on in disbelief.
