My final check is HotCopper to see how the share holders view the leadership and whether the company is in good hands.

LOL..HC's veiw on leadership is based largely on how much they paid for their shares relative to where the shareprice is now and ignore the price of the commodity the companies selling.
The problem you have is which poster do you believe and over what timeframe , you can also apply the same approach to analysts just to add to the confusion or perhaps just toss a coin. Nobody has the answer just an opinion but in hindsight some will prove to be correct.

Try looking at the Companies fundamentals especially the cash position, the sector they are in, sentiment in the sector, what stage of development they are at and the price the product they sell, then make yout own decision and live with the consequences not rely on a bunch of anonymous posters on a traders chat site, but thats just my opinion...
