I am only speculating here but it is possible that JB has been able to gain access to the NIO/ WeLion supply chain for spod from NAL.

I don't think finding buyers for our spodumene has been an issue only the price, so unless someone is prepared to enter into a short term OTA with a floor price at or above our cost of production I doubt it makse a lot of difference who takes it untill we can have it refined in North America and preferrably at NAL itself.
So the question remains is someone prepared or in a strong enough financial position to offer a contract with a floor price in the current market to obtain supply certainty over a short term. I doubt it, but you never know and that certainly would be a game changer.
