I am thinking it could take a decade plus if it is left in the hands of small players like SYA, PMT, WR1 and the like.

In order to do it in a shorter time frame, the really big players need to get involved.

Would Glencore ever consider becoming a refiner of lithium chemicals?

Maybe, they refine other minerals and metals.

They are showing signs that they want to join the energy transition supply chain.

I think the Canadian Government would welcome a Glencore or RIO to help develop an industry which is struggling to get started.

In the meanwhile, NAL spod will continue to be shipped out of the Port of Quebec until there is another alternative.
