Is the lithium carbonate battery grade?
I am pretty sure the LiCO produced in South America is primary grade.
To upgrade it to battery grade (99.9%) it goes to Arcadium’s refineries in China and Japan.
If it is refined in China, it may have difficulty qualifying as compliant for IRA.
