I believe you are correct.
However, I suspect that the Chinese buyers adjust the amount they will pay for spod from Quebec by reducing the amount they will pay for the product.
If there was no adjustment, why would they not just buy from Australia where the shipping costs would be less than a half, possibly as low as a third?
