The POSCO/PLS lithium hydroxide refinery in South Korea was commissioned in Nov23.
As far as I am aware, 5,000 tonnes of spod was shipped there at the end of last year to begin ramp up.
Another shipment was sent there a few months ago.
All up, I believe no more than 20,000 tonnes have gone to the refinery in the last 10 months.
If Tesla were to commission Corpus Christi before the end of this year, they may have to stockpile much of what they get from PLL during the ramping period.
Going by the ex-China refineries in Australia, it will probably take in excess of one year to attain steady state.
